Thanks for looking, everyone...

Time is short, Barbara! Last night I got everything sanded. Tonight I start on the interior and maybe painting the tails and flying surfaces. We'll see if this can really be done!!

Cheers,

Dan

Hello, All...

A bit more on this machine. I highlighted ribs and the markings from the upper wing so they will show through on the lower surface. All holes are drilled for struts and rigging and the interior color was started. Tonight, I try to build the interior. We'll see!! :P

Boy, you are a modeling-machine. Very clever idea to "shadow" the upper markings on the lower surface of the wing. This is going to be the usual stunner.

Massimo is right, you are a modelling machine! Which are the colors used for wings?

Thanks, folks! :D

Barbara...I used "sail" from Gunze Sangyo (H85) for the base. I sprayed a tiny bit of Tamiya Dark Yellow (XF-60) in between ribs. The highlighting was done with strips of tape over the ribs and some brown pastel chalks applied and feathered out.

I think the colors are not light enough. Maybe I should have used a tinted white...but it looks nice next to the "wood" fuselage so I'm keeping it! ;)

More later...Dan
